Clear Lake Auto Service is currently seeking an ASE Certified or factory trained Automotive Technician to add to our growing business. We are proud to have served the Clear Lake area for over thirty years. Clear Lake is located in the sunny, warm gulf coast region of Texas near Houston, Galveston and Webster. Responsibilities and Duties:
As an ASE Certified Automotive Technician, your primary duty will be to provide exceptional automotive diagnostics, service, and repairs for our loyal customers. You will be responsible for communicating needed service and repairs to our ASE Certified Service Advisors. You may at times be required to speak directly with our valued customers, and therefore act in a professional manor and have excellent communication skills. It will be necessary for you to have basic computer skills to be able to use RO Writer, and other tools such as Mitchell, AllData and Identifix.
Experience and Skills:
- ASE Certified or factory trained Technician preferred (but not necessary)
- Willingness to gain technical training to pass ASE testing if not certified
- 2+ years of automotive diagnosis and repair experience
- Own and provide tools and diagnostic equipment
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive attitude and Team Player
- Detail oriented w/ strong work ethic
- Ability to follow directions when necessary
- Punctual, self-motivated, excels in fast paced environments

Additional Info:
We are open Monday to Saturdays. Service Advisors work salaried plus commissions five day per week.
